Military Service Plates
Not every person has the honor and privilege of displaying Military Service Plates on their vehicles. Veterans must show proof of honorable service in their campaign or status they wish to display.
DMV Requirements
Most Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will require an application and a copy of your DD Form 214. This will show that your service was honorable and you participated in that campaign.
For Purple Heart plates, most states require a signature from the state’s Veteran Affairs Commissioner. Below are the links to each state’s DMV websites. We aim to get you as close as possible to the actual page you need to get the form for your state.
